Welcome to HUE Lovett!  I'm RaSaniqe Brooks, the founder and heart behind this skincare line.  I am a Child of God, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.  My journey into the world of skincare began in 2017, born out of my personal experiences and deep desire to make a difference.

After college, I faced a challenging battle with my mental health.  It was during this time that I discovered the profound connection between self-care, skincare, and emotional well-being.  This journey of healing and self-discovery inspired me to create HUE Lovett, a brand that not only focuses on the beauty of your skin but nurtures your soul.

My faith has been a guiding light throughout this journey, motivating me to infuse love, care, and positivity into every product we create.  I hope to encourage you to embrace self-care as a vital part of your daily routine, helping you to regulate your emotions and foster a sense of inner peace.

Would you believe that this skincare line has been in the works since 2017?  HUE Lovett became a lifeline for me when my skin began to reveal the internal struggles I could no longer hide.

The journey of creating HUE Lovett started as I was finding my way after college and battling a mental health crisis.  As a woman of faith, I felt God calling me to share my light with the world, even during my darkest moments.  I am thankful for the people that prayed for me and pushed me forward (special shout out to my mom, dad, grandma, sister, and brother; y'all some real ones).  It was not until I sat in the peace that God gave me, and I shut out all distractions that I was able to ask God what He wanted from me in that moment.  I could hear Him.  God had already given me peace to resolve every area if my life even in this chaotic time. 

Despite challenges, I showed u and connected with many women of color who, like me, struggled to recognize and appreciate their innate value due to life's trials, low self-esteem, or lack of confidence.

I refused to let beauty standards dictate how I felt about myself.  Instead, I began experimenting with ingredients that made me feel good through exfoliation, hydration, toning, and moisturizing.  This self-care routine became a powerful tool for emotional regulation and stress relief.

The mission of HUE Lovett is to encourage others to look beyond distorted self-images and connect with what is happening on and to their bodies, especially their skin.  Our skin reflects our experiences and how we internalize them. By practicing self-care through skincare, we can regulate our emotions and lessen the effects of stress.

At HUE Lovett, we believe that every woman of color deserves to recognize and appreciate her innate value.  Our products are designed to celebrate the diverse beauty of all skin tones, proving effective and gentle care that empowers you to feel confident and cherished.
